We use only 10% of our brain and mind power...

Thus...

We see only 10% of the reality around us, like the image of the iceberg.

The rest is "below the surface" of our awareness.

If you have been guided to consider hypnotherapy to address concerns of yours, then take the plunge and contact Nicole for a FREE consultation.   Remember, our egoic self does get scared from change or considering change, but remember to be strong in the face of change and follow through with any guidance you may receive about healing and changing yourself for the better.

At any given moment we are only aware of a small fraction of what is going on in the room around us.

In one moment, we may notice we're hungry, have a soreness in our body, and that we feel warm, (and even that may be a lot for one moment), but we "tune out" the birds chirping outside, the hum of the air conditioner, and people talking in the other room, not to mention all the involuntary processes of our body, until those things are brought to our awareness

Why Hypnosis?

Because hypnosis aligns your conscious wants and desires to your subconscious behaviors and reactions so that your subconscious is working for you not against you.

Roughly 10% of our mind is our consciousness which houses our reasoning, logic, decision making, and willpower.  The other 90% is of our mind is governed by the subconscious.  When the 90% of our subconscious is incongruent with our conscious wants and desires, it overrides that mere 10% of our consciousness.  We are often not aware that our subconscious beliefs are so different from our own conscious thoughts that we don't realize that it is that powerful 90% subconscious beliefs that is keeping us from fulfilling our fullest potential!

Our subconscious formed the core programs and beliefs while we were a child.  Therefore we often have the same limiting beliefs as our parents and other influential people around us while we were growing up.  Later in life, you may have formed your own opinions about yourself and the world around you that differ from your childhood programs, but you don't realize your subconscious carried those programs and suggestions your parents gave you and the other influential people in your childhood.

Hypnosis modifies your deeply rooted subconscious habits and reactions to become aligned with your conscious wants, goals, dreams and desires.  Your negative, limiting subconscious beliefs are transformed into positive, empowering beliefs and reactions while in the suggestible state of hypnosis.

What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a deep state of calmness and relaxation. Also, you are always in control of yourself, meaning your body and your beliefs. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis and no one can be induced into a hypnotic state against his or her will. You allow yourself to be guided into hypnosis and you remain in control at all times. You always know what is happening and you are aware of where you are and can come out at any time by opening your eyes.

Everyone can be hypnotized.  Hypnosis is a natural state we enter in our day to day life.  We automatically enter a hypnotic trance often, such as before falling asleep, while driving the same route such as to work and back, or while participating in creative endeavors.

Because hypnosis works directly with your subconscious (with your conscious mind as an active participant) results are seen much faster than through traditional psychotherapies. While in a hypnosis session, your subconscious mind is suggestible to the suggestions the hypnotherapist is giving. This weakens the subconscious programs you wish to get rid of to allow your conscious wants and desires to take hold, replacing your old unwanted limiting subconscious programs.

Hypnotists do not possess the power to control other people's minds. They guide you into deep relaxation so that you can access your unconscious mind. In this state you are not constrained by the inhibitions which normally prevent you from accessing you inner thoughts and feelings. You could never be made to do anything against your will.

Hypnosis can be characterized by:

~Increased muscle relaxation

~Feelings of well-being

~Increased pain threshold

~Predominating alpha and even theta brain waves

~Diminished ability to want to vocalize
